JOE NASH (NT DT, Seahawks 1982-96) works at a bank in Wellesley, Mass., where he lives with his wife and three children. Nash holds the all time Seahawks records for playing the most seasons (15) and games (218). "I didn't like training camp, nobody did;' Nash said.”but I loved every thing else about playing for the Seahawks. Every year, during the week leading up to the Raiders game, the atmosphere was like a college rivalry. On game day, the fans at the Kingdome would go crazy. One time, the Raiders showed up with car patches to help combat the noise." Nash earned a Pro Bowl invitation in 1984 and retired with 47.5 career sacks. He is also credited with two career touchdowns, one each on an interception return and a fumble recovery. His earliest NFL memory is the intimidation he felt upon seeing the Seahawks playbook for the first time. "It was in a big three-ring binder, and what amazed me was how much it changed every week," he said. "I remember thinking that coaches lived for updating that thing. It seemed like they stayed at it from Monday through Friday."
